Latex clothing is designed to fit close to the body and follow its natural shape. It should feel secure and create a smooth silhouette without loose or baggy areas.

A close fit should not cause pain, numbness, restricted breathing or excessive tension around seams, fastenings and openings. The ideal fit may vary depending on the design and thickness of the latex.

Elin Latex garments are handmade using high-quality natural latex produced in England. Many of our garments are made from approximately 0.4 mm latex, which offers a balance of flexibility, comfort and structure.

Thickness may vary depending on the design. More structured pieces may use thicker latex. Check the individual product description or contact us if the thickness is not specified.

Make sure both your skin and the garment are clean and dry. Remove sharp jewellery and take extra care with long nails. Wearing soft rubber gloves can help protect the material.

Apply talcum powder or a silicone-based dressing aid to the inside of the garment. Gently work the latex into position using the flat surface of your hands rather than pulling it with your fingertips. Avoid pulling directly on seams, straps, zippers or decorative details.

Avoid contact between latex and body oils, creams, perfumes, cosmetics, jewellery and piercings, as these may damage or stain the material.

Wash your garment by hand in lukewarm water, approximately 30-40°C, using a small amount of mild detergent. Gently move it through the water and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Allow the garment to dry completely away from direct sunlight and heat. Remove excess water with a soft, lint-free towel. Once dry, apply a latex shiner to the outside if you would like a polished finish.

Before storage, apply talcum powder or a suitable dressing aid to the inside to prevent the material from sticking to itself. Store the garment separately in a protective bag, away from sunlight, heat and humidity. Use a non-metal hanger where appropriate.

Yes. Prolonged contact with metal can cause permanent stains or discolouration, particularly on light-coloured and semi-transparent latex. Avoid storing latex against metal hangers, buckles, chains or jewellery.

Direct sunlight and strong artificial light may also cause fading, uneven colouring or deterioration. Store latex garments in a cool, dark and dry place.

Many Elin Latex garments are handmade in our own workshop and may be produced after your order and payment have been received. Some items may already be in stock. Availability does not always mean immediate dispatch.
